Held from 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟓–𝟐𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, the Cultural Mapping Training Workshop in Lumban came to a meaningful close after four days of learning, fieldwork, and collaboration. Day 1 opened with an insightful session led by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐒. 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬, setting a strong foundation for the participants. On Day 2, the mappers headed into the field to apply their new knowledge, immersing themselves in the rich cultural landscape of the community.

Day 3 highlighted the participants’ dedication as they presented the outputs of their previous day’s mapping activities, followed by another engaging learning session in the afternoon. The final day brought them back to the field in the morning, completing their last round of mapping before reporting their findings in the afternoon.

The workshop concluded with a simple 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲, recognizing the participants’ commitment and valuable efforts throughout the entire program—another meaningful step toward preserving Lumban’s cultural heritage. This marks only the beginning, as the process will continue with community validation to ensure that Lumban’s cultural heritage is accurately documented and honored.
